Hi, I’m miko
(Aka your friendly neighborhood Asian-American photographer)
For over 8 years, I’ve blended documentary and editorial styles of photography using both digital and 35mm film to craft timeless stories for couples, families, artists — anyone with a story to tell. I believe in capturing a mix of authentic, unguarded moments that showcase raw emotion, alongside more poised images that tell a deeper story. Whether it’s a quiet glance between partners, a family’s joyful chaos, or a musician lost in the moment on stage, my goal is to create images that feel honest, vibrant, and full of life — memories you’ll treasure for years to come.
On most days, you’ll find me either editing at a cozy coffee shop or out exploring with a camera in one hand and a LARGE iced shaken espresso in the other.
After spending years living in Utah, I moved back home and am now based in Southern California — but I travel often for photography work and would love to fly to you! ✈︎
